英語口語龍年習(xí)語

8. not set the world on fire 不成功、不激動(dòng)人心
She does the job adequately but shes not going to set the world on fire!

1. drag someones heels 不情愿地做某事，拖延做某事
At times local organizations may drag their heels in the campaign.
有時(shí)候地方組織在競(jìng)選活動(dòng)中故意延遲行動(dòng)。
2. drag somebody into something 使某人卷入某種困境中
Dont drag me into your plan.
不要強(qiáng)迫我參加你們的計(jì)劃。
3. drag somebody away 使某人從某事中脫離開來轉(zhuǎn)而從事其它事情
Though its time for dinner, it is difficult to drag my son away from the wonderful TV program.
