與老外聊電影標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)10句
1.What kind of movies do you like? 你喜歡看什么樣的電影？
What kind of意思就是“什么類型的”，我們可以說(shuō)What kind of candies do you like?
你喜歡吃什么樣的糖果？
注意，當(dāng)kind of單獨(dú)連用的時(shí)候，意思是“一點(diǎn)”，表示程度，
例如：I'm kind of hungry. I didn't eat breakfast this morning.我早上沒(méi)吃，現(xiàn)在有點(diǎn)餓了。
2. Recently, I have been infatuated with horror movies. 最近我迷上了恐怖電影。
be infatuated with 是“入迷”的'意思，除了用with，還可以用by這個(gè)介詞，
例如：You can see he's infatuated by her he was all over her at the party.
你能看出來(lái)他被她迷住了--在聚會(huì)上他一直向她獻(xiàn)殷勤。
3.Who stars in that film? 那部電影的主角是誰(shuí)？
star作名詞的時(shí)候，可以表示“明星”，例如：Jay Chou is a pop star.周杰倫是個(gè)明星。
在這里star用作動(dòng)詞，有“表演”的意思，英語(yǔ)中有很多遮掩，既可以作名詞，又可以作動(dòng)詞的詞，例如：book, schedule等等；
4. The movie has been hyped up far beyond its worth. 這部電影被吹得太離譜了。
hype是“大肆宣傳，炒作”的意思，通常用作名詞，
例如：The public are not fooled by all the hype the press gave the event.
新聞界言過(guò)其實(shí)的種種報(bào)道并沒(méi)有愚弄得了公眾。
這里的hype up是一個(gè)詞組，意思是“使 ... 熱烈起來(lái)”，
例如：She was so hyped up about his son's mischief that some feared she might blow all the fuses.
他兒子的惡作劇使她太受刺激，因此有人擔(dān)心她會(huì)大發(fā)雷霆。
5. This movie is worth seeing. 這部電影值得一看。
be worth doing something意思就是“值得做某事”，
例如：This book is worth reading.
這本書(shū)值得一看。
6. Some horror movies may scare you to death. 有些恐怖電影能把你嚇個(gè)半死。
scare sb. to death “把某人嚇?biāo)馈保⒄Z(yǔ)中有很多這樣的表達(dá)，例如: beat to death 毆打致死，starce to death 餓死，等等；大家可以多用用，這些說(shuō)起來(lái)更加生動(dòng)；
7. Do you like horror movies? 你喜歡恐怖電影嗎？
horror有“恐怖，恐懼”的意思，
如：The news struck him with horror.
那消息使他震驚。
8. I love horror movies the most. 我最喜歡看恐怖電影。
love ... the most “最喜歡……”，例如：Among all these toys, I love the bear the most.在所有的玩具中，我最喜歡小熊。
9. I like most movie genres except for horror movies. 我喜歡各種電影，除了恐怖片。
except for是短語(yǔ)介詞，意思是“除了……”，被除去的部分通常是前面的整體的一部分，
例如： His thesis is pretty impressive except for some written mistakes.
他的論文寫(xiě)的很好，除了一些拼寫(xiě)錯(cuò)誤。
